Full Time with potential part-time or flexible schedule; Exempt; Primarily Remote (Though we anticipate this position will be primarily remote, this job may require boots on the ground for occasional events such as site inspections, depositions, trials, etc.)

This position requires a zealous and self-starting attorney who wants to develop strong litigation skills and who wants to eventually manage their own case load up to and through trial. We provide the training, mentorship, and support to guide our junior associate attorneys as they grow into this role.

Though our firm supports an appropriate work-life balance, those persons who are hoping to universally maintain a 9-5 schedule should not apply.

Qualifications:
  • Legal License & Experience:
    • California law license required.
    • Oregon and Washington Licenses a plus.
    • Minimum 3-5 years of experience as an attorney.
  • Qualities desired:

    • Well-developed organizational and time management skills.
    • Innovative and creative mindset.
Job Expectations:

The junior associate who excels in this position will:

  • Hold our core values.
  • Grow to handle all aspects of a litigation case load including client and team communication, evidence gathering, conducting both written discovery and depositions, writing and assembling mediation packages, and communicating with defense counsel and insurance adjusters.
  • Help ready cases for trial including preparing all pre-trial documents, evidence, working with experts, and preparing witnesses for their testimony.
  • Support the trial team during trial.
  • Volunteer when team members need assistance even if the task falls outside the technical parameters of the job.
  • Respond to and incorporate management direction and constructive feedback.
  • Staunchly protect our firm culture and reputation.
Compensation:
