Salary: $65,000-85,000.00 per year DOE

About the role:

The Marketing Coordinator will partner with colleagues across our growing firm by primarily supporting marketing efforts, including podcast production support, newsletter coordination, former client outreach, contacts list database interaction, budget monitoring, and metrics gathering and reporting. The role is considered dynamic, “Yes, I can do that or figure it out,” and will include some executive assistant support to Partners, as requested.

The below is not an exhaustive list but provides an expectation of the likely day-to-day responsibilities. The Marketing Coordinator should be prepared to work autonomously and respond as required working across teams to ensure a high level of client service is always maintained. All responsibilities should be carried out in accordance with firm protocols, policies and procedures, and best practices.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

To perform this job successfully, you must perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and ability required to excel in this position.

Policies & Procedures:
  • With direction, draft written procedures and checklists for marketing activities that do not presently have written procedures and checklists.
  • Suggest ways to improve efficiency in ongoing procedures.
Marketing (85% time):
  • Assist creative team (content creators, designers, digital marketers) with producing marketing assets including (but not limited to) advertisements (print and digital), web and social media content, and podcast episodes.
  • Participate in brainstorms that help generate effective marketing initiatives.
  • Develop and manage a system for organizing marketing creative assets.
  • Communicate and maintain relationships with vendors (printers, recording studios, merchandise manufacturers, etc.).
  • Provide on-the-ground assistance at marketing events (including space setup and breakdown, vendor coordination, and helping with registration/check-in as needed).
  • Assist with editing and proofreading of marketing collateral.
Executive Assistant (15% time):
  • Assist partners with scheduling, expense tracking and payment, maintaining memberships in organizations
Experience Required:
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in marketing or production.
  • Professional services and / or law firm experience is appreciated but not necessary.
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office suite, Google Suite, and Adobe.
  • General comfort with learning new applications is essential.
  • The ideal candidate will have a high school diploma, with a college degree preferred.
  • Ability to work autonomously and be a proactive self-starter with close attention to detail and an ability to understand the importance of detailed work within a larger context.
  • Ability to communicate clearly, concisely, and grammatically-correctly in written and verbal communications.
  • Ability to plan, organize, and carry out multiple related activities.
  • Ability to work under tight deadlines and multi-task across several different departments and time zones in a fast-paced office environment.
  • Ability to make recommendations to effectively resolve problems or issues by using judgment that is consistent with the firm’s standards, practices, policies, procedures, and local regulations.
  • Must be flexible and able to respond quickly and positively to shifting demands and opportunities.
  • Ability to collaborate in an effective and mature manner with co-workers, vendors, and clients.
  • A positive, can-do attitude.
